Textile Exploration
West Island School
I organised and led an engaging textile exploration week at West Island School. Throughout the course of one week, we delved into various textile techniques, including geometric embroidery patterns, Hong Kong-themed embroidery, photo transfer with embroidery, macramé earrings, macramé cross body bags, and weaving on lap looms. The students showcased an outstanding level of dedication and perseverance as they fully immersed themselves in these creative endeavours. Their hard work paid off, and they felt an immense sense of pride upon seeing the impressive results they achieved by the end of the week.
